Telephone CARE reassurance program

Telephone Reassurance Program:

Supported by modern-day technology, our Telephone Reassurance Service  will utilize the advance technology and phone systems of Database Systems Corporation (DSC). DSC has been providing the latest technology in call center software and voice broadcasting solutions since 1978. It is a window based computer system employing an Intel processor with a Dialogic telephone board. This DSC Care uses IVR technology to call resident using a computer and plays a recorded message, asking them if they are ok, if the client answers the call or press a phone key , the systems knows automatically that they are ok . If the client does not respond after 3 times, a police, the client representative or a volunteer will be sent to visit the client. The system can also be used to remind the client to take the medications. It can be used to call the client multiple times per day if needed.

Remote patient monitoring

We employ the most advanced monitoring devices that meet all FDA standards to successfully monitor the elderly and the developmentally and intellectually disabled individuals. The data collected are closely monitored and interpreted by our team of professional workers. With our remote patient monitoring program, you can be assured that your elderly individual is not left alone.

Furthermore, with the remote patient monitoring system, a healthcare provider can identify a potential health risk on a patient and mitigate the risk before it gets out of hand.

Mobile dental services

Oral health is integral to and inseparable from overall health.  Yet it is widely recognized that the oral health of seniors is significantly compromised and that access to dental care is diminished relative to the general population.

The urgent need to systematically address oral health care needs among seniors  is recognized at national and state levels, and comprehensive, integrated, and systematic responses are under development. Based on a meta-analysis of twenty-seven high quality research studies looking at oral health among seniors, Dr. Patrick Anders, faculty at SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, noted, “The greatest opportunity to improve oral health seniors lies in the development of effective prevention.” Special Care Dentistry 2010, May-June 30. Unfortunately this is sorely lacking. This is where our program will come in.

“We go to the Seniors!” Dental appointments and treatments are the most unwanted among seniors.. Our bus will be parked at the senior housing facilities to serve the seniors with most of their dental care needs..

Training for Home Care Aides

We always believe that the success of any program lies in all those professionals who directly care for the patients. We are committed to enhancing the knowledge and understanding of not only the our employees   but most importantly the patients and their caregivers. Hence, we have developed a training platform website called www.myacademy.care to provide the necessary training that our caregivers will need before they start caring for seniors.

Our goal is to empower the caregivers with the skills they need to provide care in all levels and situations. This is in line with our mission to provide the quality care that our seniors deserve.

Apprenticeship

The goal of our Home Care Aide Training and Apprenticeship Program is to empower the underserved and unemployed caregivers with quality training that will prepare them to pursue  a career in healthcare starting with Home Care Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.  The apprenticeship program will be a good way for them to do the training and get paid at the same time.
