She has been involved in the senior care business since 1999 and opened a home care and nursing staffing company in 2001 together with her husband. She provided supplemental staffing of RN, CNA, LPN, and caregivers in assisted, independent nursing homes, and other elderly care agencies.

In 2006, she provided homemaker or household services, funded by the Community Care Program (CCP) and administered by the Illinois Department on Aging (IDOA). Right after one year of operation, the company become the third biggest provider of state-funded homemaker services and was offering to many clients in 20 different locations of Illinois.

From 2005 to 2011, she was selected as a member of the professional advisory board of the IDOA where she was responsible to offer a forum to discuss new policies, service improvements, and other similar topics to expand the state-funded program.

She was honored as the Ginang Kalayaan’ in 2008 and became the ‘Woman of the Year’ in 2010, granted by the popular Asian newspaper and TV show. She was also awarded a ‘Modern Family Award’ in 2009 and was recently crowned as ‘Mrs. Philippine Independence 2019.’ She continues to celebrate her success and contributions to the healthcare community.

Before joining Golden Heart Senior Care Glenview as a franchise owner, she was an active business consultant who offered services for marketing, operations, management, and all levels of support for mergers and acquisitions of healthcare companies. She interacts with the leaders of healthcare agencies such as senior housing, assisted living communities, home health agencies, and others to bring sustainable development.
